Veronica Bovenzi

My name is Veronica, I am a Southern Italian based in Canada for the last 30 years. I am a Board Certified Hypnotist, and a Clinical EFT Certified Practitioner. Having started my practice in February 2020, just before the pandemic hit, I have helped my clients with their debilitating anxiety, panic disorders, sleep issues, and general feeling of overwhelm about life and the world situation.

I learnt about Havening while looking for tools to help my younger clients who were unable to share what was happening in their inner world. Since following the training, I was blown away by the effectiveness of the Havening Techniques, and by the neuroscientific understanding they are based on.

Scientific understanding is essential to me due to my scientific background. After completing my M.Sc. in Biology, I came to Canada to pursue my graduate studies in Pharmacology. That is when I discovered the fascinating field of epigenetics. I have worked in some of the laboratories where the first studies about the importance of early life experience were conducted. Without any doubt, infants who receive good maternal care, develop into well balanced, healthier adults, better able to cope with life than infants who experienced neglect.

Being the mother of three teenagers who have their own struggles, I am passionate to teach Havening to young people so that they can build a resilient brain and live a calmer, healthier and more fulfilled life. I have seen how Havening calms the emotional storms of my teenage daughter, and eliminates the increased performance and test anxiety of many of my younger clients.

I also care to teach Havening to people who deal with illness or anxiety over medical diagnoses or medical exams. Having overcome my own fears over medical procedures, the uncertainty of the results of repeated tests, and the isolation I felt in those days, I can hold a safe space for them, while Havening does its "magic" by changing the electrochemical makeup of their brain and create healing.
